Done romanticizing tech startups. I run commercial cleaning — no app, no deck, no VC. Cleared $340K net last year, four crews, home by 3pm. The boring business IS the sexy business: proven demand, and nobody's going to out-innovate a clean office. What's your "boring business that prints money"?

The thread I wish more founders read. Complexity isn't a moat. The dumpster-rental guy in my city doesn't lose a minute of sleep over churn.

Devil's advocate, because someone should: the discovery moat is gone — Angi and Thumbtack compressed margins hard since 2024. You still need a systems edge even in the "boring" ones.
